| Rob Davis 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 |
 My 1969 Ford Mustang Mach1 was my dream when I was 16 years old. My Dad and I found it behind a barn on blocks and paid $400.00 for it. My Mom about fainted when we towed it home, parked it in the driveway and then unloaded the engine in pieces from the bed of the truck. Needless to say she wasn't a happy camper.
My Dad and I rebuilt the 351 Windsor got the car running again. Of course being a young kid the louder the car was the better so we put some BlackJack headers on it. The car was originally Wimbledon White with red interior. When I had the body work done I painted it Royal Maroon and didn't put the strip kit back on it.
I drove the car all through High School finally selling it in 1988. I am kicking myself now.
I lived in the Dayton, Ohio at the time
and would love to find out what happened to this car. I am hopeful that it was picked up by someone and returned to it's original condition.
